Universal Waite Tarot Deck
by Pamela Colman Smith (Illustrator), Mary Hanson-Roberts (Illustrator),
Stuart R. Kaplan
The Universal Waite Tarot Deck provides a colorful, eye-appealing
alternative to the traditional Rider Waite Tarot Deck. The color tones
reveal details of the imagery that is appealing and conductive to readings
and meditation. As a tarot reader & instructor, I have used several
decks, favoring the Rider-Waite deck for over 10 years. However, the more
eye-pleasing coloring of the Universal Waite Tarot has brought out a lot of
details that were much more difficult to see in the original deck. I use the
deck now in my phone and in-person tarot readings and workshops. The rich
symbolism of this deck makes it easy to interpret intuitively without prior
study yet, still offers a wealth of deep, esoteric knowledge for advanced
readers.
Drawing upon
extensive experience with wildlife education and rehabilitation and more
than 30 years of studying & teaching the mystical and psychic, Ted Andrews
has created a powerful tool in The Animal Wise Tarot for divining
possibilities for the future and gaining insight on a single day, a month,
or a year. Whether an experienced tarot enthusiast, a shamanic practitioner,
or a novice to psychic exploration, this tarot's clarity and ease of use
will be a refreshing surprise. Anyone can use this tarot effectively from
the moment it is opened and you find yourself becoming truly animal-wise!
All traditions
taught the significance of Nature - particularly of the animals crossing our
paths, whether we are awake or dreaming. Use this tarot to develop your
intuition, strengthen your connection to the animal world, and to find
answers to some of life's most puzzling questions.
The material is broken into 18
lessons, of which 7 cover the card meanings themselves (three for the minor
arcana, one for the court cards, and three for the major arcana), and 6
cover spreading & reading the cards with examples. The text is concise, and
for each card there's a section explaining it's symbolism and meanings when
straight and reversed. The explanations are solid - Eden Gray draws on
Waite's Pictorial Key to the Tarot and the Golden Dawn's Book.
by Arthur Edward Waite, Waite, Pamela Colman Smith
The world's most popular tarot deck! This classic deck has
long been a favorite of beginners as well as tarot enthusiasts. It has a
direct, in your face energy that is easy to read for most. The other plus is
that many of the instructional books use the Rider Waite for illustration.

Magical imagery and full scenes grace the intensely
colorful cards in this popular tarot deck. For those that like to get right
into a deck, the “up close” feeling of this deck puts you right in the
middle of the action. This deck is a favorite of many of my students.
Vivid fairy-tale images enliven this now-classic
reinterpretation of the Rider-Waite Tarot deck. Many of my students have
found this deck really speaks to them.
A vibrant recolored version of the original Rider-Waite Tarot deck. This
fully illustrated 78-card deck gives a new radiance and depth to the most
cherished, popular tarot deck in the world. Includes booklet. This deck
glows! A student first had this deck and then one was gifted to me. I really
like it. I just might turn into my new deck for work!
In this popular deck, Connolly employs inspirational,
uplifting imagery to tap into your subconscious. This deck reminds me of
stained glass. It is just exquisite. She has renamed a few of the Major
Arcana: the Devil is reborn “Materialism”. This deck is great for reading
for people that are fearful that they will get the Death or the Devil card!
Her son has done an amazing job of illustrating!
Drawing on
characters and stories from Greek mythology, The Mythic Tarot offers an

Demeter, and Athena, the goddess of justice -- and every card tells a
well-known mythical story. Rich with psychological insight, these mythical
legends provide the wisdom and the insight we seek for personal growth.

David Palladini's masterful tarot deck is illuminated by
Reading Tarot Cards, Susan Hansson's detailed explanation of tarot symbols,
correspondences, and spreads. Paperback book contains 218 pages,
illustrated. This one is a friend’s favorite!
Based on the notebooks and records of the Order of the
Golden Dawn, these cards include references to symbolism of diverse origins.
This deck is for the esoteric enthusiast. Golden Dawn Members were
influential in many of the modern mystical traditions. You could spend a
lifetime just interpreting the symbols on the Major Arcana. Because the
Minor Arcana is not well illustrated, I don’t recommend this deck for
beginners.

Inner Child Cards
bring charming, fairy-tale images to the age-old tradition of the tarot.
Authors and professional astrologers Isha and Mark Lerner intended to offer
a fresh, innocent perspective on tarot readings while also staying grounded
in recognizable archetypes. And what better way to tap into our true spirit
than to recall the soul-inspiring stories of childhood? "Fairy stories, told
and retold, enrich the depths of our hearts from which our hopes and ideals
are born," the authors explain. "No other literary creation has such a
fundamental effect upon us than has the fairy tale."
Based on
Rider-Waite imagery, which is what most books explaining tarot are based on.
The basic format is the same, but the artist put her own version and twist
on it. This makes this deck very beginner friendly.
Tastefully conceived. There is nudity, but tasteful. More 'artistic' than
Rider-Waite decks, in my opinion, because you see more emotion on the
figures' faces. Sometimes the Rider-Waite deck comes across as pictures of
stick people, and at times, like rough sketches. The Robin Wood deck is more
emotive, colorful, and clean.
This is not a Tarot Deck, but it is great for meditation!
As a companion to the best-selling book Hidden Messages in Water, the Water
Crystal Oracle includes forty-eight beautiful water crystal images to
enhance your life and balance your well being in many ways. Water is
attempting to communicate something to us. Negative emotions prevent the
water from crystallizing. Positive emotions allow it to develop in beautiful
hexagonal shapes. Water crystals are illustrating this divine gift in their
design and the Water Crystal Oracle card deck provides access to this power.

"Tarot Constellations" the cards determined by the year and
the day's date and you have powerful processes that allow you to flow

Transformation, is an introduction to Tarot as a path to personal
evolution and self-awareness.
The
Tarot has long been known to contain the accumulated secrets of the
universe in esoteric symbology. In order to decipher the true meaning of
these symbols, the student must approach the Tarot with an open mind and
an open spirit. This new approach to the study of the Tarot provides a
clear but profound method of exploring and discovering your own inner
depths, a necessary prerequisite to a thorough understanding of the
ancient symbols.

Arthur
Waite’s classic work, which explains the meanings and uses of the 78
Tarot cards’ symbols. Originally published in 1920. Waite called this
book "fragments of a secret tradition under the veil of
divination." Contains detailed description of each card in the
Rider-Waite Tarot deck along with regular and reversed meanings.
Out
of Print--Limited Availability. Tarot cards have been used for
centuries to predict the future, shed light on the past and reveal the
mysterious patterns of character and destiny. With language simple
enough even for beginners, this book is the quintessential work on one
of the most mysterious arts of the New Age.
In
1909, Arthur Edward Waite encouraged Pamela Colman Smith to produce a
tarot deck with appeal to the world of art that would have significance
behind the symbols, and thus make the deck more important than tarot
packs previously used for centuries. The result was the unique
Rider-Waite Tarot deck, which has endured as the world's most popular
78-card tarot deck. The innovative cards, including the 56 Minor Arcana,
depict full scenes with figures and symbols. This featured, combined
with Pamela Smith's ability to capture the subtleties of emotion and
experience, has made the Rider-Waite Tarot the basis for the designs of
many 20th Century packs. The Original Rider Waite Tarot Pack is a
facsimile edition originally printed from palates that were destroyed
during the bombing of London during World War II. The deck and book set
comes complete and in full-color with original Tudor Rose back design,
Celtic Cross divinatory chart, and The Key to the Tarot by Arthur Waite.
