Keep It Simple SpirituallyBy Cindy Griffith |

This article is dedicated to my Uncle Mark. I had just gotten back from Egypt and stopped in to see my Uncle. He told me that in order to try to understand me, he had read my newsletter from start to end. I must give him credit, since I don't think many of my relatives actually read these things. Anyway, he looked at me and with a sad face, he said to me, "I said to myself, she's got it all wrong, it's so simple!" He continued, "you don't have to go traveling around the world to find all this great stuff and get these great feelings. It's all right inside!" I was floored! How could one of my biggest points not come through. I spend so much of my time talking to people about the fact that through including spirituality, life has gotten so simple! I tried to relay to him that I agreed with him whole heartedly, but between jet lag and that fact that 3 hours later I came down with Montezuma's revenge from bad water on the plane, I am not sure if it got through. If there is anything I want to stress about my going to Egypt, it is that we don't need to take that type of a physical journey to achieve wonderful insights! The major insights that I gained on my trip are: We, and all that is around us, are perfect just the way it is. We have everything that we are looking for right inside ourself. When you have faith that Spirit directs your life, and learn to follow that direction, things get very simple because when Spirit wants us to do something, the way is provided. The main point is, it’s time to recognize that all the things that we are searching for are right inside of us!I must say that I am very glad I took to this trip. When I first heard that the Order of Melchizedek was going to Egypt, I said to God, "if you want me to go, let me know and send the money, because I don’t have it!" Well I got money that was coming to me from 3 years ago, which covered the trip. I met Christopher, who having been to Egypt before, turned out to be a wonderful traveling companion. We got great airfare ($679 round trip), and I even had people to cat and house sit! This is what I mean by, if Spirit wants you to do something, the way is provided! I am not sure why Spirit wanted me there, but I learned a lot! I learned it was okay to dream big, and about how lucky we are to be born in this country. I also realized that we need to look at our life relatively! I would recommend that one goes to a "poor" country once in their life. I also realized that I could physically walk and climb places I never thought I could. Besides that, I had a lot of fun! I do feel that these places have a special energy to them. Although the point is that you can access that energy at home, from within yourself. All you need is to spend some quiet time and ask Spirit to assist you. The real point of this rambling is that we have all we need right inside: the guidance and the knowledge that we are already who we want to be. Spirit will direct us and bring us the opportunities to manifest that perfection. That is exactly why it is so simple! We are already who we are supposed to be. All we have to do is keep our life simple enough to be able to hear Gods directions on how to bring that perfection to the surface. How do we know God is talking to us? I have found in the past that if we are trying to open a door that is stuck shut, we are most likely trying to open the wrong door! An analogy that Carolyn Myss (whose tapes on Energetic Anatomy I highly recommend) would probably use is this: picture your guardian angel is on the other side of the door that you think is stuck, pulling on it, saying "No, not this door, try the one that I left open for you down the hall!" When I try and try to do something and it doesn't seem to work, I am learning to make my life simpler. I say, "Okay, I get the message, I see that either this isn't the right time for this project, or maybe the project isn't right for me. I'll move on and take up the next project and see if that one moves along more easily." Keep It Simple Spiritually doesn't mean that we don't have to do anything, or that nothing is ever difficult. Although the difficulties you encounter will pertain to issues of self growth. You’ll encounter lessons about patience, sharing or what ever you need to work on at that time. K.I.S.S. means that we are humble enough to admit that we don't always know what God, or Spirit, or what ever you want to call the creative force, wants us to do. Our ego doesn't always know best! So keep it simple, listen to your inner guidance; remember that you really can talk to and understand God’s answer without others help; do walk through open doors, and most of all, be willing to surrender to God's will. The Kiss of God is the best K.I.S.S you will ever receive! Thank you for the reminder, Uncle Mark! Cindy is a psychic in Skaneateles, NY who is now tweeting under the name of Tarotheals.
