  H. P. Blavatsky and the Theosophical Movement
With careful documentation and persuasive exposition the author presents an authentic account of the chief incidents in H P Blavatsky's life, her ideals, and her unswerving dedication to the service of Humanity. Controversial matters and H P Blavatsky and controversy go hand in hand -- about which today there may still be differences in opinion, are examined because they touch closely on fundamentals. They are discussed with the author's penetrating insight, yet with an impersonal touch not lacking in persuasive charm. Includes an important record of the later history of the Theosophical Society and a listing of world-wide Theosophical Societies and Groups representative of the Theosophical Movement today.
  Helena Blavatsky
At the age of 17, rejecting nineteenth-century materialism, Helena Blavatsky (1831-1891) left her native Russia and traveled through India, Tibet, Egypt, Europe, and the Americas seeking out the sources of ancient wisdom as a key to spiritual truth. In 1875 in New York, she co-founded the Theosophical Society for the study of occult traditions. Many popular ideas of rediscovered ancient wisdom, including reincarnation and karma, trace their origin to Helena Blavatsky and Theosophy. This anthology includes material on her life and travels, as well as excerpts from her major works.

The Power of Thought: A Twenty-First Century Adaptation of Annie Besant's Thought Power
Theosophist Annie Besant (1847-1933) drew from the ancient wisdom of the East to explore the deep recesses of the mind. The original edition was published in 1903 and has been in print ever since. Now leading contemporary Theosophists have painstakingly revised the text to free its timeless truths from the time-bound language of the early twentieth century and make it more accessible to today's readers. The result is a clear discussion of subjects of increasingly high interest: concentration, memory, consciousness, telepathy, sleep and dreams, cultivation of the will, and access to your higher self.
  The Masters and The Path
C.W. Leadbeater offers an enlightened study of the Path of Discipleship under the Guidance of the Ascended Masters. While existing in our troubled world, we can see in this work the place of initiation and its role in both our spiritual and physical selves. Beautifully written in a manner to both guide and instruct, this classic book is of timeless value to all students of Initiation and Guided Wisdom.
  The Inner Life
A study of our unseen nature and the universe.

Ancient Mystical White Brotherhood
"white" in the title of this book refers only to ones level of consciousness. It has no connection to color of skin. The Brotherhood embraces all colors and races.

  Annie Besant
A short biography of this fascinating woman whose life ranged from being the wife of a clergyman, to being denounced as an atheist and radical. Annie Besant fought for liberalism, became a Theosophist, then traveled to India where her teachings brought about amazing results. It attempts to deal with the life and personality of Mrs. Besant in what the author believes to be a truly neutral standpoint.
