Timaeus and Critias by Plato

When I started my search for Atlantis information I felt I needed to read the words of Plato. I found it within a small section of what would seem to be nothing more than a literary device (p.25)- for the secrets of the lost city of Atlantis, the story of which is related to the gathered characters by Critias as an illustration of what Plato's Republic could be, or could have been. Yet others see it as a handbook of ancient astrology.

Mysteries of Atlantis Revisited by Edgar Evans Cayce

Easy to read 200 page book that gives an overview of the Cayce readings about Atlantis. This is an excellent place to start. Strength of the book is the author's attempt to present the Cayce readings objectively with comparisons to scientific thinking and that of other metaphysical writers on the topic, such as the Theosophists.

Atlantis and Lemuria by Rudolf Steiner

There was a time when a continent called Atlantis still lay between Europe and America. This portion of the world’s surface was at one time land; this land now forms the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.
